Austin Thomas with Lawo: Austin will be presenting on the broadcast industry’s transition to IP, some of the challenges the industry faces, and a discussion on how manufacturers like Lawo fit into the puzzle
Austin Thomas (CSTE, CBNE) has spent 13 years in the broadcast industry. He has held previous roles covering systems engineering, television station management, broadcast network design, RF transmission systems, and various positions within the manufacturing process in both technical and sales roles. Currently the Regional Sales Manager for the Central U.S at Lawo, where he is focused on bringing industry-leading technology to help broadcasters improve their workflows and make the transition to IP.
Lawo is a family owned broadcast technology company, engineered in Germany, with a history of 50 years in the broadcast industry. Lawo designs and manufactures pioneering network, control, audio and video technology for broadcast and post-production. Products include control and monitoring systems, digital audio mixing consoles, routers, video processing tools as well as solutions for IP-based A/V infrastructures and routing systems.
